Regardless, this workout was GREAT because it was quick yet effective and it hit all major muscle groups. All in all, we were in the gym for an hour. And it was an EFFICIENT sweatfest of an hour! Try this out and track your time!
MONSTER Monday Workout 11.5.12
- ARC Trainer 30 mins as cardio warm-up [ you can do another type of cardio warmup but my favorite is the ARC trainer because it gets my hips & posterior chain awake and ready to move!]
5 Rounds for Time
- 5 pull-ups [if you’re still working your way up to full pull-ups, you can do a timed “hang” on the pull-up bar or do inverted body weight rows]
- 10 DB deadlifts [we used 30lb DB’s]
- 10 pushups
- 10 Burpees
***If you are not familiar with any of the exercises, consult a certified professional before you attempt them! Adjust the length and intensity of this workout in accordance to your fitness level. You can decrease weight, or reps for any of the exercises. You can also modify body weight exercises.
