For the runners, today is a day where many people will do the unthinkable; they will complete a goal they once thought absolutely and completely impossible. Many folks are running for a charity cause- to raise money for those who are seriously ill. Many folks are running in memory of those they have lost, but who’s spirit will carry their loved one for the 26.2 miles. Many folks are running to prove to themselves that they can achieve far more than they ever expected of themselves.
Each and every runner deserves a constant stream of applause, cheering, support and motivation for their entire run today, for they are all AMAZING achievers. In light of this, today’s MONSTER Monday Workout is this:
MONSTER Monday Workout 4.15.13: Marathon MadnessThis workout is not something specific but instead a challenge to channel the will, determination and tenacity of each Marathoner. Go watch even 5 minutes of the race, see the look on a runner’s face as they give 100% in each stride they take, and get truly inspired. Take that positive inspiration and GO MOVE YOUR BODY. Go do something that is outside your comfort zone; do something that you think might be a challenge and try it anyway. Be vulnerable. Be scared. Be uncomfortable. But be open. Be ready for change.
