I remember feeling conflicted- one half of me knew better than to believe the TV commercials and the advertising on the box... I knew that it couldn't be healthy to consume such few calories. But the other half of me thought: "well they can't possibly advertise it if it's not true...it must work." I didn't make it more than 3 days before I was so starving that I abandoned it for some food with actual substance.
We've all made decisions like that- we want to believe that something which seems too good (or extreme) to be true will work. We want to buy into the advertising messages that we see... even though a little voice in the back of our mind tells us not to. We are BOMBARDED with these messages of "rapid fat loss" and "lose fat fast!!" each and every day... everywhere we look! It makes the whole journey of fat loss & getting fit hard for a lot of people.
I've come a long way since my days of eating Special K and drinking Diet Coke, and I've created a business with a mission to help people understand
