Adulting 101

Adulting 101

I want to share a harsh truth with you today, that I hope you will take some time this weekend to think about… because embracing this really does change lives:

Planning is part of being an adult.

As in, Adulting 101.

You cannot be a fully functioning adult human and reject the planning that is required in your life.

well, you can , but you’re not gonna like the outcome very much.

And I think for the most part, you agree with me:

If you don’t plan and prep for your big presentation at work, you’re gonna have a consequence…. perhaps even a pink slip.

If you don’t plan for a snowstorm and the roads aren’t drivable, you’ll be shit outta luck with no food.

But for some reason, folks don’t like to admit that they have to PLAN for themselves in their weight loss / fitness journey.

you need to PLAN your time away from work, family, etc. for your workouts.

you need to PLAN your meals, snacks & macros.

you need to PLAN your day so it doesn’t get taken away from you by other people.

you need to PLAN your sleep so that you aren’t so tired the next day that you make poor nutrition choices.

Planning is just something that you absolutely MUST embrace, if you want to achieve the goals you have for yourself.

So, if you’ve been slacking on the planning…. grow up πŸ˜‰ and get it done!
