Losing Weight in Menopause Be Like 🤪

If you need a laugh about weight loss in menopause (vs weight loss years before menopause), then CLICK HERE and watch my 16 second video.

But then come right back here and read on for some helpful info!

🚨 Weight loss before vs. after menopause – what CHANGED?

Before menopause, you had more flexibility. Your body burned calories more efficiently, and you could get away with a little more freedom in your diet.

But after menopause?

Your metabolism slows, estrogen drops, and losing weight takes longer—unless you adjust your approach.

The way I think of it is like this: pre-menopausal weight loss is like driving down a 4 lane highway without any other cars. There’s a wide berth for you to move. You can swerve, and still be okay. It’s also like in the video- coloring in a huge area. You can be a little messy without going outside the lines.

But after menopause? It’s like driving down a narrow one lane road that has no shoulder and no guardrails. It’s like driving South on The Pacific Coast Highway…. there’s little to no margin for error.

It’s also like in the video- coloring in a teeny tiny spot. One wrong tiny move, and you’re outside the lines and you’ve fked up your picture!

🔥 Here’s what actually works:
✅ Prioritizing strength training to keep muscle and boost metabolism
✅ Eating enough protein to fuel fat loss (not just cutting calories!)
✅ Being more strategic with food—no more “eyeballing” portions
✅ Managing stress and sleep, because hormones rule everything

If you feel like your old routine stopped working, you’re not alone.

The key is NOT to give up…. but rather change the strategy.
