The #1 Thing Busy Moms Get Wrong About Fat Loss

If you’re a busy mom who is trying to drop body fat, there’s 1 thing you’re probably overlooking and it is likely costing you any progress you could be making.

Let me first start by saying the key to fat loss is being in a calorie deficit, or eating less calories than you burn each day.

We recommend a 15% calorie deficit so that you can simultaneously enjoy life while also losing weight! πŸ˜‰

Here’s where you’re probably going wrong:

You’re probably overestimating how many calories you burn every day, especially if you’re doing cardio on a machine.

The treadmill might say you burned 350 calories, but it has NO idea about who the person is on the machine.

  • How tall are you?
  • How much do you weigh?
  • How fit are you?
  • What’s your heart rate?

It has no idea!!!
Simply put, you can not trust the calorie readings on cardio machines.

So, how can you measure your calorie output?

Invest in a fitness tracker watch that knows your age, weight, height, sex, and can get an accurate heart rate reading while you’re doing your workout.

I wear a Garmin Forerunner, but there are other great brands that you can check out HERE

The reading on your fitness watch won’t be perfect, but it will give you a much better (and accurate) understanding of how many calories you’re burning when you work out.

And when you know how many calories you’re actually burning, you can calculate how many calories you need to eat to hit your goal.
