If you’ve ever had the frustration of feeling like your workouts just aren’t working, I’m here to speak the truth.
And maaaayyyyybe I’ll get some “unsubscribes” for this one, but I just have to tell it like it is… in the hopes that the awareness leads you to action.
The reason you’re not hitting your workout goals is your own lack of consistency.
You do something for a few days or weeks, and then you don’t.
You start… you stop… you start and stop again.
You never acutally give yourself a chance to see what consistency can bring you.
If this resonates, here’s what you need to do instead:
Find the pace you can run at.
No, not necessarily literally run… but the pace that you can keep for a long period of time.
What approach / program / actions can you sustain for a long period of time.
Over the top, super intense efforts might seem appealing because they promise such drastic results… but the truth for EVERYONE is that those efforts are unsustainable over the long haul.
And they lead to the start, stop, start, and stop again yo-yo.
So finding an approach that will work for the long-term is the key.
