I want to address a super common workout mistake that I see folks make all the time.
It’s a super simple mistake to make, but it is extremely costly, in terms of ruining your results.
Here’s the mistake that will destroy your results: doing a bunch of cardio before your strength training.
For example- going for a run and then lifting weights after.
The run fatigues your muscles… so when you get around to the weights, you can’t lift as heavy.
And lifting heavier weights is the key to fat loss and getting toned.
So by running first, you’re kinda shooting yourself in the foot…
Here’s what to do instead:
✅Combine your lifting with a low-impact type of cardio that doesn’t fatigue you, like going for a walk. Lift weights first and then walk afterwards.
✅If your goal is to become a faster runner, your approach will be different. You’ve got to prioritize your running first, and then you can lift lighter weights later in the day, or on a different day altogether.
