Understand THIS & Weight Loss Becomes Easier

Today I have something important to share… and I was inspired by someone I learn from and look up to: Layne Norton. If you don’t know of his work, go look him up. He is a leading figure in sharing research backed, data driven information about health, fitness, and weight loss. Again, if you don’t know him, go follow him on any social media you’re on.. he also has a podcast..

ANYWAY!

Here’s the message:

You need to make training and eating well as automatic as brushing your teeth.

Think about it.

  • You don’t debate whether to brush your teeth each morning and night.
  • You don’t make excuses or wait for Monday.
  • You just do it because you know it’s required at least twice per day.

And here’s the thing you need to understand:

The people who are the most successful at weight loss, fitness, health, etc. treat their workouts and nutrition like they treat brushing their teeth.

They’ve trained their bodies to need & require movement and good food.

Not because they’re superhuman or have perfect willpower.

But because they’ve created such a strong habit that NOT doing it feels worse than doing it.

They’ve created a reality where:

  • when they skip their workout, their body feels off.
  • when they eat like crap, they feel sluggish and irritated.
  • when they break their routine, everything feels harder.

They weren’t born this way (as much as I love me some Gaga πŸ˜‰), and they’re not some sort of superhuman that has stronger willpower than you do… They simply created the reality necessary to live their best life.

Your goal this week isn’t to find motivation. (Stop scrolling through endless memes trying to do so)

The goal is to start building that automatic response.

Make your next workout and your next meal as non-negotiable as brushing your teeth was this morning.
