
One of the biggest areas of focus for me when coaching clients is shifting them from talking and thinking about things to actually doing those things.
Seems simple, right?
It’s not really.
We’re all creatures of habit.
We usually continue to do what we’ve previously done.
That’s part of why I love starting with building simple, consistent habits.
The things that you repeatedly do are the things that will move you toward your goals.
So with my clients, the objective is to…
Simplify. Figure out where it is that you want to go.
Reverse Engineer. Once you know where you want to go, work your way back to your current place.
Act. You have to take action. Results = Momentum.
Small successes yield bigger successes. Time after time. And if you’re worried about having the perfect plan…stop.
It will NEVER be perfect. NEVER.
Everyone adjusts their goals along the way and must course correct to get there.
EVERYONE.
But I’ve yet to meet a successful person that isn’t making daily progress toward their goals.
Yes, daily.
They don’t spin their wheels and they aren’t sitting in neutral.
They move.
So start moving.
