See, most people say 'I need to tone up' instead of specifically choosing a measurable outcome & a process to get there.
If you've ever said 'I need to workout more', that's a perfect example.
Instead, you need to shift that to "I'm going to walk for 30 minutes every day" or "I'm going to do 3 strength training sessions this week"
It's manageable – something you can get done in a specific timeframe. "I'm going to move my body for 45 minutes each day." This will make the process of working out much, much easier.
So, here's how you can put that into action:
Step #1: Set aside 30 minutes, 3-5 days per week.
Step #2: In that time frame, move your body at a moderate effort.
Go for a brisk walk outside.
Do a bodyweight strength workout.
Ride a bike (indoors or out).
Go for a run.
Hike.
Do a session with a personal trainer.
It can be anything, but it starts with getting yourself up out of your office chair or couch.
Step #3: Repeat. No “one time only” efforts.
If you add movement into your day, do so with the intention of repeating that movement…. not just doing it “when I have time” or in some other unorganized fashion.
That's it.
It will work.
You'll soon see more results than you ever have before.
You'll boost your energy.
You’ll improve your fitness level & body composition.
You will realise that this “being healthy & fit” thing is something you can actually do!.
It will be the most valuable 30 minutes you spend each day,
