Feeling better comes not only from physical exercise and healthy nutrition choices, but also from doing things for others.
In fact, science shows that acts of kindness activate the release of dopamine, the feel-good neurotransmitter in the brain. Helping others has also been linked to reduced rates of anxiety and depression.
When we do something for others, and also boost our own mental health at the same time, everyone wins.
And that’s why we believe it is imperative to keep giving back to others, to the community, and to one another.

On Saturday, May 11th, Lucky13Fitness will host a charity workout event to help give back to a fantastic local organization, LABBB Educational Collaborative.
The mission of LABBB is to design and deliver special education services that promote academic, social, and career independence in the most inclusive settings possible. They do this work right here in our back yard of Burlington, where they support people from preschool through adulthood.
We will host a FREE workout for all to attend… if YOU show up and have fun, Lucky13Fitness will donate on your behalf!
