I think its the 3rd or 4th year in a row that they've done it.
The group of friends she did the ride with is wonderful... and BUSY.
Most of them have kids, a few are planning a wedding, one just bought a house, they all have important jobs, and have busy social lives.
You might be wondering how the HELL they had time to train for a challenge like a 150 mile bike ride!?
Well, the truth is, when they thought about the HUGE challenge of the event (150 miles in 2 days) plus the months of training (riding 50 - 75 miles every weekend), it overwhelmed them!
So, they just took it one day at a time, one ride at a time..... and with consistency & adherence to a plan, they made it.
It's the same for any fitness goal that seems almost too huge to achieve.
An overall plan must be developed, and then broken down into "bite sized" chunks...
This way, you just focus on what you have to do today... it makes it MUCH more manageable.
And, this way- you're most likely to conquer the challenge.
Even if you're a busy person with 1,000,000 other things to do.
