They help people who are in need or suffering, and they help fund research to eradicate things like cancer, Multiple Sclerosis, mental health stigma, and much more.
Part of the mission at Lucky13Fitness is to give back to our community as well as our members & their families by hosting charity workouts several times throughout the year.

But there is one type of donation that I believe is the WORST and should be stopped immedately.
And that is the donation that people end up making to their gym when they stop going regularly but continue to pay a monthly membership fee.
It happens all the time. Maybe it’s even happened to you…
You sign up for a gym membership, brimming with gusto & hope for some big changes to your body and life.
It goes great at first, but after a few weeks or a month, things start going downhill.
Your attendance is much less regular…. Life just gets too busy!
You don’t see the results you were hoping for…. Which only reinforces your disdain for spending an hour on a treadmill after an already long day at work.
Before you know it, you’ve given up going to the gym entirely, buuuuuuut you’re still getting charged each month for your membership.
And there you have it: your monthly donation to the gym.
